Its lead asset is RCDS1 (E,E-bisantrene), a small molecule anticancer agent that primarily functions through G4-DNA & RNA binding to potent inhibition of the cancer growth regulator MYC. The company is advancing a proprietary formulation of RCDS1 (RC220) to address the unmet needs of patients across various oncology indications with Phase 3 clinical programs in acute myeloid leukaemia, Phase 1a/b program in mutant epidermal growth factor receptor non-small cell lung cancer (EGFRm NSCLC), and a Phase 1a/b program in combination with the anthracycline doxorubicin. It has collaborations with Astex, MD Anderson, Sheba City of Health, UNC School of Medicine, University of Wollongong, and University of Newcastle. The company was formerly known as Race Oncology Ltd and changed its name to Racura Oncology Ltd in December 2025. Racura Oncology Ltd was incorporated in 2011 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
