The company also researches and develops a suite of extraction and refining technologies for the recovery of lithium chemicals from various materials, including lithium micas and spodumene; and offers end-of-life solutions for batteries. The company was formerly known as Lithium Australia Limited and changed its name to Livium Ltd in October 2024. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is based in Kew, Australia.
